They’re one thing we all have in common… you didn’t get here without one, and neither did we.
Now, we won’t accuse you of taking your own mom for granted. (If you are, odds are she’ll handle your foolishness herself, right?) BUT when it comes to social media marketing, you have a lot more to worry about than just your mom.
Friends and followers make the social media world go ’round. You knew that. But you may not know that by focusing solely on your own followers, you’re not seeing the forest for the trees.
Google+ is still growing…
No, you’re not having flashbacks. We did mention this pretty recently. But we’re bringing it up again because ten million users in less than two weeks is impressive by any standards.
More impressive is that the figure is now over 20 million.
People are stubborn creatures…
Even when we know a thing is in our best interests, we sometimes have to be dragged – kicking and screaming, as often as not – toward that which we need.
We love to be right.
Have we mentioned that? (Yeah… we have. Quite a bit, actually.) It makes us do a little happy dance.
But you see, we don’t love to be right because we’re narcissistic jerks or anything. (Er… well… maybe a little.) We just love it when data reaffirms what we’ve been telling you all along.
Circles, circles, circles… Everybody’s talking about circles and writing about circles. We’re starting to see circles in our dreams.
(OK… not in our dreams. But since we can’t mention what we’re actually dreaming about here, it might as well be circles. Right? Right. Circles, then…)
Google Plus is still making headlines, this time with the news of 10 MILLION users in two short weeks. But despite the number of personal profiles being created and connected, the real story may be the implications for business.
There are a lot of pieces of the social/shopping puzzle, and you need to look at all of them to figure out the big picture.
You know by now that your customers are on social media. And they’re talking. New studies show that not only are people talking about brands, but their friends and acquaintances are listening… and reacting to what they hear.
Did you ever wish you could go back in time, knowing everything you know now, and start again?
Of course you have. Everyone has thought about it.
Well, when it comes to social media, we’re all going to have that chance.
How fast is Google Plus growing?
While the numbers being reported are unofficial, one word describes the growth rate.
FAST. (OK… two words.) Really fast.
